¡y funciona!.

Lima, Peru- Raelian Aramis Member PEACEFULLY SENDING LOVE TO violent agressive policemen

Peruvian homosexuals answered with kisses, peace and love to police violence and discrimination

Lima, Peru, February 2012 (67AH) ARAMIS Peru supported the event "Kisses Against Homophobia" organized by the Homosexual Movement of Lima

A team of Aramis (the Raelian Association of Sexual Minorities) in Peru, led by Latin American Aramis leader Erich Rever, took part on the event "Kisses Against Homophobia" organized by the Homosexual Movement of Lima (HMOL).

The Aramis members took very noticeable banners displaying messages such as "A kiss is love, live your freedom" and "A kiss is peace, live your freedom" . The HMOL welcomed the banners in support of their campaign.

Initially the event was going to take place at the Plaza de Armas of Lima where the Presidential Palace and the Catholic Cathedral of Lima are located, but the peruvian president Ollanta Humala had ordered the police to close every access to the Plaza de Armas with fences and even with a tank that threw dirty water, so that no lesbian, gay, bisexual or transsexual or heterosexual supporters (LGBT) could enter, though any other people could! That was a clear message of discrimination from President Humala, who initially got votes from the LGBT community for his supposed support to them.
The event gathered a large crowd, including LGBT and heterosexuals supporters who shouted proudly:
"We are not anymore afraid", "Kisses are love", "Our rights must be respected like the rights of anybody else".

As the event kept going with the main entrance still blocked by the police, the Homosexual Movement of Lima succeed to have an access through another entrance and mobilized everyone there. Once there the police had also blocked with fences that access, but some LGBT people had entered through the police security passing like "normal" civilians and begun kissing in the other side of the fence! It was a victory for the LGBT, but after some minutes the police started to use force to remove them from there.

The LGBT community in the other side pushed the fence to pass through it to prevent any harm from happening to the LGBT members and that prompted the police to bring again the tank that threw pressured dirty water.

Even though Aramis leader, Erich Rever, was not pushing the fence, the water struck all over him, leaving his skin and clothes all wet and dirty. All the LGBT community went backwards as the tank continued throwing dirty water and the police started coming out from the fence with their sticks and shields ready to enforce any necessary measures.

The only one left in front was the ARAMIS Peru leader who decided to sit down, close his eyes and meditate by just sending peace and love towards the aggressive police men. This is what Erich had to say about it: « It was beautiful, an undescribable sensation. I didn't know if I was going to get hit by the police or taken to jail, I just relied on the power of love, which was the force that moved me to remain there confronting the violence that was coming towards me. I was focused on my meditation, just thinking of love and peace on Earth. I have been reminded that it was like the "1 minute for peace meditation" action launched by Maitreya Rael, though within a completely different circumstance. »

Erich was just meditating peacefully. They didn´t harm him, they didn´t touch him, they just passed by his side in silence. When he opened his eyes and stood up, he could see that the police got again to the other side of the fence and some LGBT members begun pushing again the fence and the police immediately answered by throwing a bomb of gas that irritates protesters eyes and nose and makes them cry. Everyone went away screaming to protect their sight and airways.

"It is incredible that we still live in such a primitive society today in the 21st century, where a kiss is so dangerous that it needs a presidential order to use policemen, fences, gas bombs and even tanks to protect a PUBLIC area from homosexual people wanting to express a fundamental human right, armed with only one weapon, a kiss of love!." said Rever

Today´s action brings to perspective how much still needs to be done to create the change that we need on our wonderful planet... but thanks to the teachings of the Elohim through Maitreya Rael, the ARAMIS members took the necessary steps in order to achieve it, by answering with peace and love to violence…and it works!

Once again, ARAMIS Oceania's anti-homophobia slogan refused by Sydney GLBT Mardi Gras ORGANIZERS !!!

ARAMIS Oceania's anti-homophobia Parade slogan, which was rejected in 2012, has once again been refused by the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, despite continuing homophobic statements by Church leaders.

Open letter to Michael Rolik, CEO and the Board of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras
Dear Michael and Board,
Thank you Michael for your recent letter outlining the specific “What Mardi Gras won't do” and “What Mardi Gras will do” clauses, which are the reasons for rejecting the ARAMIS (Raelian Association of Religious Minorities) Expression of Interest in the Parade.
Admittedly the proposed slogan “HOMOPHOBIA is criminal Bible bullsh*t”, was also rejected last year, but the Raelian Movement had positively hoped that enough changes had taken place both inside Mardi Gras itself and the socio-political scene in Australia and internationally to highlight the salient need for free expression of GLBTQ communities’ concerns about religious homophobia.
Benedict XVI in his recent Christmas message once again condemned gay peoples and denounced same sex marriage as a manipulation of nature. He claimed homosexuality was destroying the very “essence of the human creature.” Whilst many people see the Pope of Rome as a joke these days he still has an unfortunate and powerful influence on opinion and decision-making. Ironically his supporters also seem to influence Mardi Gras, despite the pope’s slanderous, discriminating edicts against homosexuals and transgender peoples and the formation of a Royal Commission to investigate pedophilia within the Church.
According to the head of the Christian Lobby, the Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard recently assured religious groups they would have the ''freedom'' under a new rights bill to discriminate against homosexuals and others they deem sinners. The federal government is also proposing anti-discrimination laws that would leave transgender people vulnerable to discrimination.
“What Mardi Gras wont' do - Allow messages that discriminate or cause harm to others.”
The slogan Mardi Gras rejects only condemns passages of religious texts, unlike homophobic religions, which condemn countless individuals to lifetimes of trauma, misery and abuse and even foster the death penalty for GLBTQ peoples in some countries to this day.
“Homophobia is criminal Bible bullsh*t” doesn't imply that the Bible is all “bullsh*t”, it simply highlights that there are at least some parts which are obvious lies and deliberately misleading. The word bullshit is understood by most people to refer to a blatant lie, a flagrant untruth, an obvious fallacy, nonsense or exaggeration etc.
The Raelian religion also relies on key sections of the Bible, as well as sections of the Koran and many other religious scriptures in its philosophy. However we denounce homophobia in any form and particularly religious homophobia, which is so virulent, so blatant and based on misinterpretations and fear-mongering.
By combining the opposite values of love and homophobia, homophobic religions create toxic messages and mental conflict in impressionable minds. “Criminal Bible bullsh*t” is hardly an adequate term for the horrors homophobic religions inflict on the vulnerable to this day.
The separation of Church and State doesn't appear to exist in Australia. Should GLBTQ rights to speak out against persecution be held back so as not to offend bodies, which keep in step with religious homophobia?
“What Mardi Gras will do - Assess an Entrant based on its integrity and purpose in relation to the core values of the Parade.”
The International Raelian Movement positively affirms homosexuality, and transgender as natural and normal and actively promotes sexual liberation.
By questioning the integrity and purpose of the Raelian Movement in relation to the core values of the Parade, Mardi Gras begs the question of its own integrity and its current purpose. The original spirit of Mardi Gras is being lost and the revolutionary energy for much-needed change appears to have been hijacked by corporate funding and government interests. It seems Mardi Gras is losing sight of the core reasons, which had made the formation of the Mardi Gras protest and consequent Parade necessary in the first place.
In its 35th year it’s time to review not only the proposed name change, but also Mardi Gras itself. Is Mardi Gras still a full expression of Gay and Lesbian core values and concerns? Does it still have integrity and purpose in relation to the objectives of the original Parade? Is it censoring the expression of some serious GLBTQ concerns? Is it a national GLBTQ event celebrated by GLBTQ communities across the country, or is it to be simply a Sydney Mardi Gras event in a country where GLBTQ peoples remain freely targeted by religious bigotry and where same-sex marriage is outlawed?
Australia professes to treat its citizens equally, but equality doesn't exist here for gay, lesbian and transgender peoples. We feel Mardi Gras is muzzling our outcry to be free of religious persecution and discrimination and to have equal rights.
Mardi Gras was created for the sexual liberation of humanity. Lets keep it this way. Or rather make it a more efficient and a more powerful tool for change. It is the mission we, as GLBTQ communities, have entrusted to the Mardi Gras Board and we still have a long way to go to achieve true equality.
Sincerely,
Luke Roberts (aka Pope Alice)
ARAMIS Oceania leader
www.raeliangay.org
bannedbanner@raeliangay.org
TO DOWNLOAD our BANNED BANNER 2013 files:
LOGO : http://www.raeliangay.org/download.php?view.1
T-SHIRT : http://www.raeliangay.org/download.php?view.4
HIGH Resolution BANNER : http://www.raeliangay.org/download.php?view.2
550px Wide BANNER : http://www.raeliangay.org/download.php?view.3

Raelians censored and expelled by Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade

ARAMIS Mexico at the 2008 Gay Pride parade

Moving in front of 200,000 people on a truck magnificently decorated with colorful balloons and banners, ARAMIS Mexico stood out with its revolutionary message from the Prophet Rael: "The Elohim created all life on Earth: and "To love sexual differences enriches and improves humanity". We gave thousands fliers to the public where we explain our philosophy based on the right to be different and happiness for all. TV cameras filmed the enthusiasm and the happiness of the Raelians and we finished the parade giving away even our balloons to the crowd. It was a wonderful day and we had a lot of fun!

Gay Pride London, 2006: Fatwa of love.

On a hot and sunny Saturday 1st July, London hosted EuroPride and we Raelians were out in force to support the Gay community. Together with Deg and Sean from Ireland, we marched for 3 hours through the streets of London spreading our message of love and acceptance and giving out 2,000 flyers. We also carried placards which read "De-Baptise from your Homophobic Religion!" This proved controversial, but still we received much applause when people spied our signs:-)

Thanks to help from the Aussie Raelians, Yvonne and Saul, we were able to design our costumes on theirs and help brighten up an already beautiful day. And what a day! The diversity of the beautiful gay community shone with love, glitter and smiles;-)

After the March we gathered at Trafalgar Square where we had a stall complete with "Fatwa of Love" postcards, and beautiful give-away fridge magnets on which a message reminded folks to "Express your Individuality". And that wasn't our only give-away - we had lots of free books - "Yes to Human Cloning" which we gave to gay couples telling them how they too can have a child of their own.

So many people worked very hard to make this an enjoyable and successful day. We're already looking forward to a bigger and better event next year........

A Fatwa of Love to 1 million people in Toronto

Toronto, June 25, 60(AH) - Men clad in leather chaps, wigs, spike heels, feather boas or simply nothing at all worked the runway in downtown Toronto last Sunday afternoon for the 26th annual Pride Parade.

Along the side streets, 1 million people were gathered to watch the 147 flamboyant and ever colorful floats as they cruised down Yonge Street with excitement, laughter and a "joie de vivre" not common on a Sunday > afternoon. The parade was Pride Week's signature event, and offered the most stimulation for the crowds in terms of elaborate costumes, floats and loud music.

And to open the parade, we had Toronto Mayor David Miller getting soaked by spectators as he marched with members of Toronto city council. According to him the parade is an important event for the entire city. "We're here to have fun but also we're here to say a very important thing - everyone's welcome in our city, we respect their human rights, we respect people's life choices."

And us Raelians we did have something to say. That's why 18 of us from Toronto and Montreal got together on that day and proudly marched for more than 2 hours while distributing 5000 postcards of "Fatwa of love". With 2 big posters asking people not to let the Ayatollahs kill homosexuals, we managed to capture people's attention and many of them applauded our action and truly grabbed the postcards from us. We could have definitely distributed a few thousands more. It was such a wonderful diffusion.

Many people were touched by our message but mostly by the Raelians' smile and joie de vivre and fun attitude. The atmosphere was incredible! We had so much fun, it was like a huge party, a true fiesta!

It was also important for us to remind people that while Canada is a tolerant nation, homosexuals are still oppressed around the world and killed as we speak and we have to continue to fight for gay rights with courage and for freedom. That freedom that we have here in Canada that we can enjoy unfortunately cannot be enjoyed in other countries and could at any time change even here at home.

Last Sunday, we were definitely at the right place, at the right time, to defend the rights and freedom of the gays but also for anyone to that the choice and the right to be different and to be loved for his/her differences.

Together, we are building the embassy, 1 step at a time, always in the action and supporting our Beloved Prophet in his incredible mission to save us and we do it with harmony, love and consciousness. Thank you Prophet, thank you Elohim for your unconditional love and for this wonderful message of hope that you gave us. I love you Prophet. I love you Elohim

All my love to those who dare to be!

Gay Pride Bruxelles, 2006: Fatwa of love.

10 of us gathered in the center of Brussels around 1:30 pm for a gay and happy afternoon,“You’ll be able to see it with the pictures added to this summary”, although it was a little cool, in order to distribute our wonderful cards. Coming from the north the three Cht’is (as they call themselves), Francis, Pierre and Regis, in a Belgian corner. DD, Regnier Chris and I, Marie-Madeleine, came a little later, and Nathaniel and his friend.

We were a little group, but we nevertheless able, thanks to the tool of the day, to get a certain number of contacts, because out of the 3300 Fatwa of Love cards that we had available, we were able to “place” between 1300 and 1400, and only a few of them ended up on the street after having been read.

In order to do that, we split into 2 groups and walked for a while beside the floats, where we could distribute many cards to the curious people who came to admire the procession. Some floats were very amusing, even very sensual, with very attractive young men and women on them doing some sensual scenes and dances.
The welcome was rather warm, the few people with whom we were able to talk, outside of all the noise of circumstances, agreed with us when we could give them a few words of explanation. The words that really hooked people were: “A couple of minutes reading to save the world. When the person was hooked and we could see it on their face with their: “What are they talking about?” then a short
explanation came: “yes, change the world, by replacing hatred for love, by answering to hatred by love”.

Francis’ testimony: To this person, who was younger than me… not really so young, but whose face and clothes didn’t try to hide her job… the “oldest job in the world” I continue, by saying: “this man (and I point to the Ayatollah on the card) wants all the homosexuals killed, in the worst possible manner, so we tell him: “we must be incredibly sad to be so mean, so we send you, from all corners of the world, a lot of love to compensate for what you never received”. And this brave streetwalker answered: “Well, give me that card, I will send it, too”

But the most beautiful thing I heard during this diffusion up to that day was this: I had been on the same corner of sidewalk for about 45 minutes, I had the pleasure to see 3 boys (they looked like students and they seemed more homo than hetero) come back. They let me finish my chat with another person and then one of them showed me the cards I had given him earlier and said: “Could you give me several
more? We are part of a group of 25 guys and we’d like to give one to each one of them, maybe more if you agree” I don’t have to tell you how much I agreed with them, of course, but what pleased me the most is to tell you what one of them said as they left: “It’s a good thing that you are here!” What a wonderful reward it was!

Later on, the group ended up in the gay village. The ambiance in the village was warm, as we cold even feel love that emanated from the people around there. We continued our distribution. Many people had heard about the Ayatollah al-sistani and his Fawta against homosexuals and found our action remarkable.
Entire groups asked for our cards, sometimes 10 or 20 at a time. A man who had received the card from Marie-Madeleine was wiggling in the crowd and he tenderly kissed us all when we passed in front of him, his eyes shining with happiness. It was so good… like a bath of love.

It is amusing and pleasant to see the welcome that we get every year in the gay community during the Gay Pride day, while the associations that are supposed to defenc the rights of the sexual minorities in Belgium refuses us the right to participate in the parade with a float, every year. Perhaps they are afraid of the success we might have!

After our happy diffusion, we went to get one last drink in a café nearby, before leaving at about 6:30pm, satisfied with our sensual and happy afternoon.

We shared the rest of the cards between the north and Belgium so that the actions can continue in regions in the coming weeks. All those who couldn’t participate in this fabulous day will be able to join us more actions to take place in the weeks to come.

For Aramis Belgium, Cathy Cambresy

Chicago Gay Pride 2006

What an amazing day. Here in Chicago we went out diffusing at the Gay Pride Parade, four dedicated Peace Warriors with our Prophet's beautiful Fatwa Of Love postcard, which sends our love not only to all the gay people in the world, but also to their persecutors, because obviously they need love too,or they wouldn't be persecuting. Alfredo, Eduardo, Peter, Sarah, and I Went out into the streets where there must've been - I don't know - half a million people? And we passed out Love postcards all day long, we passed out thousands, and we got incredible responses. We even filmed an interview with a representative of Amnesty International who absolutely loved the work (play! ) we were doing and said so on camera. (Look for her (and us!) on RaelTV soon!) She was so moved by the Fatwa of Love that she ended up hugging us all, and it was a moment that we really appreciated the beautiful work (play!) we are doing on this planet, spreading Love and the Freedom To be who we are. And to make the experience even better, our Raelian Brothers and sisters at the Gay Pride parades in Toronto and San Francisco were waging their love-actions at the same time, so we felt really connected to the whole continent. The Gay Pride parades are such fabulous places to be because there are so many people being who they really are freely without inhibition or fears of judgement, and having so much FUN doing it! I wish the whole planet was like this!

Thank you dear Prophet for bringing me this beautiful hope.

And I wish to share one other moment, that moment just before beginning Our playing, when, surrounded by the milling crowd, we all stopped, Eduardo, Alfredo, Peter, Sarah, and I, and we held hands, and we gave our thanks to our Creators for giving us the opportunity to see the potential that humanity has, the beauty and the richness. Thank you, Elohim. We love you.

Sydney Mardi Gras 2006

There was a great sense of change in the air this year at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian New Mardi Gras. The crowd kept building along Oxford Street from early in the afternoon. By evening there was close to half a million people at the various vantage points along the Parade route.

Over the months leading up to the Parade there have been many sobering issues to deal with. A lot of these have their roots in the distant past and a lot are to do with sexuality and religion. Big changes are taking place in the world regarding sexuality and religion.

For example the cartoons of Mohammed have caused an international reaction. As well as those Same Sex Unions have very much been on the agenda. Congratulations UK. Many other matters concerning Gay Rights have been publicly discussed. Not least of which is the Vatican’s ridiculous edict banning gay men from becoming priests and the ‘witch hunts’ Benedict XVI has unleashed on Catholic Seminaries throughout the world to interrogate seminarians in respect to their sexual preferences.

The Raelian Movement is always thinking ahead in respect to these matters and working towards a better world for all. Oceania prepared a full-frontal assault on the oppressive attitudes of traditional religion and promoted a strong message at this year's Parade following on from the success of last year.

The theme of our float was ‘Debaptism”. “Religions Created Homophobia - Debaptize Now”. Our signs read, “Homosexuality IS Natural. Homophobia is NOT Natural”. “UFO Brings Love”, “The Myth of God is Over”, “Debaptise Yourself”. All signs had the raeliangay.org website underneath.

Our float featured a large cartoon of Pope Benedict XVI, in light of those of Mohammed. (see images).

There has been an even greater reception to the Raelian float this year. It has been a hardwon respect. New Mardi Gras was concerned about our anti-religious theme and wanted to censor our message. We were able to successfully argue that our message is crucial, especially to young gay people, many of whom consider suicide because they can’t see a loving future for themselves in a world full of hateful religious dogma.

Most of the commentators along the route were aware of the Raelians as a UFO and revolutionary Movement. They announced our website, as being especially created for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, queer Raelians. The commenatators were aware that we expect to meet with people from another planet. They also congratulated us on taking on religion. One commentator said over the loudspeaker, "Yes how dare religion tell us not to use condoms."

Vanessa Wagner, Sydney drag queen, seemed stunned by Pope Alice’s audacity to have acolytes in Muslim headscarves and bare breasts. Bob Downe, Australian celebrity, was ‘titilated by it all. William Yang filmed us for his extraordinary archive of gay life in Sydney, which stretches back thirty years or more. There were many photographers and we also had our own. Tony Lee, area manager for Sydney, documents most Raelian events in Australia and Alcy Infinity, Raelian extraordinaire also captured us on video. One cameraman was collecting more footage for an upcoming documentary on Pope Alice.

"Pope Alice Loves You to Life" was the message held high behind Her Divine Holiness Pope Alice. Her outfit especially caused a sensation. She led the way wearing a bishop’s mitre and rows of breasts like the Roman goddess Artemis. The large fuschia pink cope billowed in the cooloing breeze of the evening. It was held each side by two Raelian women (Rhanda and Anna) who wore Muslim-style headscarve and little else. Their breast were exposed. This was an awesome and magnificent gesture.

The two women caused an orgasmic enthusiasm in the crowd, who felt liberated by the daring attire and snubbing of religious restrictions. The crowd were thrilled that finally someone was tusing humour in the headscarf dilemma. Many, many people felt that this was such a great way of dealing with the building pressure from Islam to conform to medieval opressions.

Pope Alice added to the joy of the crowd by flashing them, as she did last year, with the huge phallus concealed beneath her cascading breasts.

"Now that’s genetic engineering gone wild." said one wily onlooker.

We were so uplifted by the Parade, which lasted for about two and a half hours up Oxford Street into Flinders Street down to the Sowgrounds. We were buzzing with energy at the end of it. Our float took about an hour to go the length of the Parade route.

This year the big Mardi Gras Party was sold out, which is a good sign that New Mardi Gras is recovering from its lull. Sixteen thousand people bought tickets for the party.

The Raelian contribution of some gutsy politics has also contributed to the revitalisation of this significant event.

Many of the hardcore Mardi Gras goers thought our float was very courageous and highly relevant and topical. They also thought Pope Alice and her assistants were very brave and the costumes witty. This is high praise indeed from a tough section of the Sydney community.

We are lucky nonetheless to live in a country where it is still possible to express oneself freely and to make public comment about primitive and ignorant aspect of outdated religions. It is vitally important to maintain our freedom of expression in the West and not have it eroded. As Our Beloved Prophet Rael says, "We must prevent a return to the Middle Ages".

On the day of the Parade we heard that Rael’s visa to Australia was finally approved. This was fantastic news for us here in Oceania, who were eagerly awaiting the presence of Our Beloved Prophet in our hemisphere for the first time in eight years.

Long live the Elohim.

Lots of Love
Luke

San Francisco Gay Pride 2005

Last week end was gay pride week end in many places.... of course we couldn’t miss the one of San Francisco, J The regional guide, Felix Clairvoyant tells us :

As Raelians in San Francisco gathered to commemorate the Stonewall uprising of 1969, what is widely believed to be the beginning of the gay rights movement, for the first time, the Raelian Movement entered a contingency in the SF Gay Pride Parade, masterfully orchestrated by Craig Fuller with directives from Fabrice and where more than a million people gathered.

Together, Craig and I carried a beautifully designed banner bearing the word ARAMIS - Raelian Association for Sexual Minorities and we were joined by ten family members from around the Bay area dressed completely in white and wearing beautiful butterfly and angel wings. We distributed 2000 fliers to a very receptive crowd. Hundreds of thousands of people were reported to have lined the parade route, many cheering as we passed and offering thumbs up and nods of approval for our additional posters, “Gay Rights = Human Rights,” “Sexual Orientation = 100% genetic,” “California = 1st Gay Country,” and “A Message from the Designers.” Those of us handing out fliers were pleased at how many reached for a flier, even from back rows, asking for fliers, or even, “Are you Raelian?” and smiling.

Even though our contingency was located near the end of the parade gathering, the crowds remained strong until the final contingency passed. And we were equally pleased to be flanked before and after by members of the Green Party and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) respectively. The contingency leader for the ACLU graciously asked us if we had powerful Raelian statements so he could chant them using his megaphone. So frequently throughout the march he would say: “Raelians say “gay rights = human rights” followed by: “Raelian priest will marry you.” or “Raelians, make some noise.” J
From the Parade’s opening contingency to the rear of the lineup, the spirit and sentiment could be felt throughout the crowd, gender equality and human rights for all. This was a tremendous experience for all of us, a joy to be able to share the hope of our Creators in a loving and accepting atmosphere. The climate of acceptance continues to change, demonstrating our need to stay focused on the mission entrusted to our Beloved Prophet.
